Treasury Management Division, Full-time, Cook Islands
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Management offers a great opportunity for you to work as a Crown Accountant in the Treasury Management Division.
Located in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, the core responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist with the preparation of Crown consolidated annual financial statements under IPSAS & end of financial year requirements.
- Assist in preparing Quarterly Financial & High-Level Cash Reports.
- Quality assurance reviews of agency Monthly Variance Reports
- GL balance sheet reconciliations of Crown Parent
- Maintaining an appropriate control environment for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Contributing to the maintenance of the CI Government Financial Policies & Procedures manual.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields. Will also consider those studying towards a relevant degree.
- A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
