The Assistant Mechanic will be responsible for the following:

Machinery Operations
Ensure all machinery is used safely and adequately maintained in good condition.
Ensure safety equipment is used where appropriate and safety standards are adhered to.

Repairs and maintenance
Ensure repairs and maintenance to all machines are carried out as planned
Assist in maintaining a regular servicing routine for all machinery.

Crusher and Quarry operations
Ensure the Crusher and Quarry equipment is operational and safe

Inter-island shipping
Ensure the barge is in good and safe working condition and assist as needed with harbor duties.
Ensure equipment as the Forklift, Excavator and Loader are operational for harbor liter age.
